A.Material

Kinds of text  to tell the ways of how to do something or making something  through sequence of actions or steps

2.  Generic Structure

Ø   Goal

Contain the purpose of the text

Ø  Material or ingredient

Contain of the materials that use.

Ø  Steps

Contain the steps to make something in the goal

3. Purposes of Procedure Text

Ø  To inform the rider how to make something sequence

4. Features of Procedure Text

Ø  Use simple present tense

Ø  Use imperative (e.g: cut, mix, etc)

Ø  Use conjunction (e,g: then, while, etc)

Ø  Use action verb (e,g: put, boil,etc)

Ø  Use adverbs (e,g: first, second, last, etc)

5. Example of Procedure Text

   How To Make Fried Rice ( Goal )

 

  

Ingredients ( Material ):

·         350 gr. White Rice

·         2 Tbs. Vegetable Oil

·         3 Eggs

·         1 Onion

·         1 Garlic

·         250 gr Shrimp

·         250 gr. Chicken Meat

·         250 gr. Salt

·         1 Bottle Sauce Tomato

Steps:

1. First Heat oil and saute garlic until the garlic smell out, and also saute onion.
2. After that Add chicken, stir briefly until slightly cooked.
3. Next Add the eggs, stirring until eggs are cooked cracked.
4. And Then Insert white rice, tomato sauce, and salt, mix well with the spices.
5. After the, the present suit your taste, you can add fried shrimp or even crackers.
